Rayne Hall has worked as a bellydancer, investigative journalist, museum guide, newspaper subeditor, trade magazine editor, apple picker, adult education teacher, fancy dress hire assistant, care home administrator, tarot reader, freelance author and development aide worker in Germany, PR China, Mongolia, the UK and Nepal.
She lives on the English south coast where she writes horror, fantasy and mainstream stories, as well as non-fiction books under a variety of pen names.
Her most recent fiction sales include stories for Byzarium, Nocturnal Ooze and Flashquake, as well as a scary story for the print horror anthology Read by Dawn, hosted by Ramsey Campbell.
Read by Dawn has was launched in the UK on 10 April 06 and will come to the USA in autumn.
