Rowan Lefwyn / Myr

Rowan Lefwyn

Fantasy novels, Paranormal and Horror short stories, Speculative Fiction / Mainstream

author Rowan Lefwyn / Myr“I no longer confuse excitement with fear….”

Rowan Lefwyn is a speculative fiction writer who has recently completed her third fantasy novel. Rowan’s own experiences with the paranormal have led her to explore otherworldly events through fiction and non-fiction. Her interests vary from equestrian sports, to ale making, to Celtic wisdom, and she particularly loves a good ghost story.

Says Rowan: “A writer must be persona triumvirate - a dreamweaver to spin the song, a shrewd revenuer to take accounting for it all, and a keen-eyed herder to bring it all together.”

Blackberry Cordial by Rowan Lefwyn

Winter’s cold fingers prod and poke at a ramshackle house in the mountains where old Saul keeps the fire burning for him and his wife, Gale.  Can they make it through the worst storms the area has seen for ninety years?  (horror)

Gray Lady by Rowan Lefwyn

Is she ghost, portent, or just someone passing through?  Has the Gray Lady something to say, or nothing?  (paranormal)

Myr

author MyrMyr is a mainstream writer who explores complex social issues through fiction. She enjoys using her writing skills to confound her boss by inserting lofty, incomprehensible words into meaningless office memos. She lives alone (shockingly) in the Northeast with a therapy cat and a suicidal Ficus tree.

Myr short stories

Herve The Perve by Myr

A youth tried and convicted of manslaughter.  But was it really manslaughter, or was it actually premeditated murder?  And, if so, was murder justified?

Editor’s Note: Gritty, yet deeply moving. (Mainstream)
