Steven Hemming

Crime / Detective, Paranormal

I am a 44 year-old telescopic fork-lift driver from Coventry, England. I have been married to Nadine since September 1st, 2001 which, incidentally, was the day that England beat Germany five-nil, so a pretty momentous day all round. I have two step-grandchildren as well as a recent addition courtesy of my own daughter. I also have a son, Luke, who has just turned 16 and who is providing all the usual problems associated with this most tender of ages. I used to write continuously when living with Mum and Dad, but had a lengthy time away from pen and paper after leaving home due to the temptations of, well, leaving home, really. Need I say more? I have now rediscovered the joy of writing, although I am still struggling to find my way around the computer. My wife and I love travelling, especialy Turkey where we have many friends, though we have also visited Egypt, Greece and the Canaries. In March we are spending three weeks in India which we are greatly looking forward to.

A Death of Ages by Steven Hemming

Confusion, terror when memory fails. No one will tell him where… (Paranormal, Supernatural)

EDITOR’S NOTE: It&8217;s rare that I am drawn to dark, brooding works. Steven Hemming, however, delivers a riveting first person adventure of the soul with A Death of Ages. —zentao

Foes by Steven Hemming

Two men, two enemies, two sharp-shooters, two guns…. (Mainstream)

EDITOR’S NOTE: This is powerful. I say that in awe of what this author has accomplished here in this short story. —zentao

In the Belly of the Pig by Steven Hemming(Vol 2, #14)Obsessed by evil, compelled to act. (Crime / Detective)

Editor’s Note: Startling, potent, and powerful, this story demanded, commanded my attention. Steven Hemming’s first story at The Deepening is rich and exceptionally drawn. —zentao
