Story List
Observations at a Diner by Danielle Berman
What could be better than finding a wonderfully warm and comfy place in which to fritter away the day? A place where you can get the best food, sit cosy within the most pleasant of atmospheres, and overhear the most intriguing of conversations…? What could be better indeed? (Literary)
Editor’s Note: Everyone enjoys a little soap opera to a certain extent; this story’s hero is no different. Simplistic pleasures are many here, and I hope you’ll enjoy Danielle Berman’s first The Deepening offering just as much as I did. In fact, I’m sure you will. Oh, but don’t forget to tip the waiter. ;-) —womblin
