Editor’s Note: This one was tough for me. The writing is well-done, but the story totally left-turned when I expected a right. So I put it before the editorial board, and they liked it. Alot. And, once I got over falling off the horse, so did I. Douglas Kolacki has a very unique and interesting method and voice, a unique style that is true pleasure reading for a lazy, summer afternoon.  —zentao
