IJASAN ADELEHIN is presently a 21-year-old Medical student at the University of Lagos, Nigeria. He writes usually after school hours but sometimes also during boring lectures. To him, writing is a form of escape just like the eject button in a flaming fighter jet. Presently, he is working on the second draft of his first novel: A science fiction \ fantasy of 200,000 words.
“The pen, the paper; the keyboard, the monitor. Without these, the world has ended for us.”

The Horrible Death of Harry Cunningham by Ijasan Adelehin
Is a horrible death indeed. When Harry and his beloved visit the wreck of a house they have bought for their retirement years, the enormity of an endless life with her obese husband overwhelms Sarah. Could the grass really be greener somewhere, somehow, for this gentleman’s wife? (Literary Horror)
EDITOR’S NOTE: Horror IS an emotion, and the scene-by-scene build in this, the first story by author Ijasan Adelehin to be presented on The Deepening, unnerves with a calculated incision into the reader’s psyche. Be prepared for discomfort as we witness a horrible death through wonderful writing. —womblin
