How to enter: Sign up on The Deepening by December 20th and post your best promotional spread. Your book must be about love. It can be Literary, Mainstream, SF, Fantasy, Romance, or any other genre (except the prurient ones, that is), but the message must be one about love. Every entry deemed worthy and presentable to the public wins.*

Contests are open to any fiction author, editor, or publisher with a well-written book that:

• has a release date and features a reserve-your-copy pre-release sign-up, or
• is already in print and available for purchase in book stores and/or on the Net.

Judges are D. L. Keur, Marva Dasef, and Elizabeth Bonecher-Brenaman. Decisions of the judges are final.

(So, what happens if the judges don’t like any of the entries? Do we pick the best of the bad? Nope. If we don’t consider the entry’s presentation worthy and publicly presentable, that entry is discarded.)

*Disqualifications include but are not limited to materials and/or books the judges consider: rude, immoral, unethical, crude, prejudicial, hate-mongering, promoting cruelty, or too sexually explicit.
