This is absolutely the way to go if you want to publish your own book.  I&#039;m &quot;Texas Boy Publications&quot; (are you impressed yet?).  Anyway, what being a &#039;publisher&#039; and getting your own ISBNs provides is flexibility.  I don&#039;t need to wonder when iUniverse is going to post royalties (well, I do have to wait for one of my printers, Lulu, for a monthly sales report).

If nobody stops me, I will publish again.  Does that strike terror into your heart?  Here&#039;s a site on suggestions of what to do with the 500 copies of your book that some of the vanities require you to purchase:
