About The Deepening’s “Featured” Display

You might have noticed that there’s a “featured” display? How to get on it:

No, you can’t bribe me. No, you can’t buy it outright. You can impress me enough that I want you up there.

An author gets to be featured when you impress me with your work and determination to succeed. Now, I don’t have to “like” your book(s), but everything you publish does need to be written well. In other words, it needs to be able to go toe-to-toe with the mid-list and top books of its genre classification.

Same is true for fiction magazines and publishers, but, obviously, then we’re considering your entire magazine or, in the case of publishers, your book catalog.
