Aeros, author of epic tales from the cosmic realms.
ABOUT THE NAME AEROS
Aeros or, more properly, Æros is the Grecian god of flight. You won’t find but a scant few references online, but, if you go to books which specialize in the Greek gods or scholarly dictionaries and encyclopedias, you can find information.
ABOUT THE COSMIC TALES WRITTEN BY AEROS (Æros)
The events depicted in the two-volume epic, A Gathering of Rebels, are lifted from the logs, registers, and lives of ships, places, and entities that do exist… “out there.”
What they explore is a known reality. What you’ve reached is, In essence, a gateway, a glimpse into alien space. What is depicted is based on actuality. ‘They’ are out there, and some — a few — have walked …do walk among them.
If you want humans or human-like entities, well, there are a few sprinkled in here and there, but, true to reality, most of the cosmos is filled with species of different ilk and kind.
WHY WRITE THE BOOKS & STORES?
The stories are written by, for, and about aliens, because, personally, I am totally sick of aliens portrayed as one-sided antagonists with Terran or Earth-originating humans and their relatives, predecessors, and descendents written as the victims and the heroes. Our universe and the greater cosmos has better examples of intelligence out there almost everywhere. It’s time that humans accepted that.
Did you ever think that, maybe, humans have been isolated? (…For their own good, for their peace of mind? …And for the good of the greater comsos?) Humans are, in many ways, a totally disreputable creature — predatory, barbaric, close-minded, provincial, and as xenophobic as they come — though, admittedly, they do have many good points, too …if they could just get over themselves.
AND THE AUTHOR
As an author existing on Earth in today’s reality, I like to stretch the possibilities. I like to get you to ask: what’s beyond the limits of our perceptions of reality. So I write about stretching possibilities. My short stories are, basically, small incursions into my warped mind—snapshots of images inside it. My books? What I do is tap into universes populated with myriad species, each one different, each one unique. But each has one commonality with humans …and Earthly animals, as well as with each other — emotion. Everyone, perhaps even everything, or almost, experiences emotion. That, to me, is the defining expression of being.
